Wondorland
 

“Wondorland” is a series of photos taken with my smartphone. It captures the world spontaneously through the eyes of Dor, my son (hence the name, no spelling mistake).

 

The first images were taken at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. I tried to make this challenging period as pleasant as possible for my son, so every day I forced myself to see, and to show him, beautiful things. But Dor never really needed it. For him, the world is one big playground. It was almost as if he could transport himself into a magical fantasy world, and I was lucky enough to join the ride.

 

I used circles and movement to covey a teleportation-like feeling, and vibrant colors to enhance the fantasy vibe.

 

I hope this series will awaken the inner child of the viewers, and show them how magical our world can be.
